In motor racing, Formula One is the paradise that all drivers wish to get to. Some drivers are lucky enough to get to a top team and others, like me, were not so lucky and had to be satisfied with a team that was used to being at the back of the grid. So, despite my driving many other cars in my motor racing life that were much better than the Osella, it is the Osella I remember as giving me the greatest joy to drive\u2014particularly the FA1F.<\/p>\n

I came to Formula One motor racing through the usual route of first being successful at lower formulae and then progressing. I first became successful in European Formula Three, winning it in 1977, moving to the Italian Championship which I won in 1979 and then to the British Formula Three Championship for more experience. I moved to Formula Two and then on to Osella in Formula One.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
