GT\/104 is one of the two Ford prototypes prepared and raced by Shelby American during the 1965 season, and one of the first racecars of any kind to benefit from computerized missile aerodynamics technology and the budding field of telemetry. As the very first 1965 Shelby American-specification GT40, chassis GT\/104 is widely regarded as the most original and correct Shelby American prototype.
