Texan Milton Verret, the car\u2019s owner, entrusted the restoration to CTL, and the work was undertaken by the original Team Lotus mechanics\u2014reunited for this project\u2014who built the revolutionary car in 1967.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With its unique resources of mechanics from the day, the original design drawings and photographic archive, Classic Team Lotus specializes in restoring cars to exact period specification. The project produced a reunion of the 1968 Team Lotus crew, including chief mechanic Dick Scammell, Arthur Birchall, Jim Pickles, Billy Cowe, Dougie Garner and Hughie Absalom.
