The 72nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting was staged 29-30 March 2014 at the 2.4-mile Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex, England. From jaw-dropping cars and enthralling on-track action to spectacular festivities and more, the 2014 Members’ Meeting lived up its billing as the ultimate “right crowd and no crowding” weekend for Goodwood Road Racing Club (GRRC) members and their guests, something helped along by the perfect early spring weather.<\/p>\n

The Goodwood Motor Circuit saw precious motor racing gems take on the fast corners for the first time. The 12-race card brought out grids of stunning quality, for sights \u2013 such as the first ever race for 1980s Group 1 racing saloons at Goodwood \u2013 that no one has witnessed before here.Then there were the high-speed demonstrations \u2013 and the remarkable sight and sound of cars like the Formula 1 machines from the first turbo era, Group B rally cars and long tail Le Mans racers.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t just the seeing of them all on the track that took the breath away, either. One thing unanimously agreed about the 72nd Members\u2019 Meeting was that the open spaces and free access made enjoying these sporting treasures up close all the more pleasurable.<\/p>\n
