Venerable Italian design house Style Bertone has finally succumbed to bankruptcy proceedings, after several years of looking for a financial angel to save the struggling carrozzeria. On June 4 an Italian court declared Gruppo Bertone bankrupt and began proceedings to sell off all of the company\u2019s assets.<\/p>\n

Despite over 100 years of creations that included iconic cars like the Lamborghini Miura and the Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe, since 2009, Bertone had accumulated over $42 million in debt. It is rumored that Bertone\u2019s entire collection of concept vehicles will be sold as a unit, sometime in the near future.<\/p>\n
