There have been three Allard revivals to my knowledge, but this one comes with the involvement of Sydney Allard\u2019s son and grandson, and a new car is promised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sydney Allard was a London garage owner (his business was called Adlards Motors) and a fearless driver who made his mark in British hill climbs before WWII. His specialty was Ford V8 specials, which some regarded as a trifle vulgar. Allard, however, was a pragmatist who once shocked those with finer feelings by incorporating the tail section of a crashed Bugatti in one of his cars.
