\"Group<\/a>The Porsche Rennsport Reunion 2015 will be staged September 25-27 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. Requests for entry to participate in Rennsport Reunion V are now open.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Porsche Cars North America, Rennsport Reunion V will bring together a gathering of Porsche vintage and current race cars, as well those who have designed, engineered, and driven them to victory in the world\u2019s most famous sports car races. The three-day program of on-track competition will be complemented by autograph sessions, a Concours d’Elegance and special activities celebrating each of the six decades of Porsche race cars.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Rennsport Reunion V questions began even before Rennsport Reunion IV ended,\u201d said Detlev von Platen, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. \u201cThe overwhelming passion shown by our owners, fans and enthusiasts over the past three years is the reason we are back, this time celebrating not only our past accomplishments at the 24 Hours of Le Mans but our future at the famous circuit with the current 919 Hybrid LMP1 racer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Car owners and drivers are encouraged to apply for the limited number of Rennsport Reunion V grid spots at MazdaRaceway.com\/Porsche-Rennsport-Reunion-V<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEntries will be accepted through mid-May, wherein committee members will review and start the process of accepting cars,\u201d said Gill Campbell, CEO\/General Manager of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. \u201cAll cars will be reviewed for their historical significance and authenticity to ensure the highest quality cars are present.\u201d<\/p>\n

Complementing the paddock will be a Porsche corral organized by the Porsche Club of America. Vendors selling a variety of automobile related memorabilia and a Bier Garten to provide guests with authentic German food and refreshments are all part of the Rennsport Reunion experience.<\/p>\n

Group 4: Weissach Cup<\/strong>
\n906, 910, 907, 908, 908\/2, 908\/3 (8-cylinder and 6-turbo), 909, 917 (normally aspirated and turbocharged).<\/p>\n

Group 5: Carrera Trophy<\/strong>

Group 6: Stuttgart Cup<\/strong>
