Set against the Goodwood House, the installation will celebrate Mazda\u2019s 95-year history and its numerous international motor sport achievements.<\/p>\n<p>Mazda is the only Japanese manufacturer to have won the 24 Hours of Le Mans \u2013 and the victorious rotary-engined 787B from 1991, with its distinctive sound, is certain to be a crowd favourite as it winds its way up Goodwood\u2019s hill climb, along with many other examples of its sporting success and road-going innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Further motor sport success has been achieved in touring cars, the World Rally Championship, Andros Trophy ice racing and sports car competition in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Every era of Mazda\u2019s motor sport achievement will be marked by some competition cars both on the hill climb and the Forest Rally Stage as the Festival of Speed celebrates the theme &#8220;Flat-out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge&#8221;, while the Moving Motor Show on June 25, will showcase many models from Mazda\u2019s current range.<\/p>\n<p>Lord March said, \u201cThe theme for this year\u2019s Festival of Speed is \u2018Flat-Out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge,\u2019 and Mazda\u2019s continual push to reject engineering conventions and strive for something unique perfectly aligns with this philosophy.
