The original (wooden) Marcos was said to have been made from \u201claminated marine ply,\u201d because Frank\u2019s partner, Jem Marsh, felt that window dressing was needed. Frank told me that the Marcos was made from what he could buy in his local hardware store.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the time of Frank\u2019s death, I was working on his biography.
