However shakily that union may have been achieved, both organizations sought to solve their individual problems through a joint venture with the other to sanction and promote the series. He was also motorsports editor at AutoWeek and editor of SportsCar, and his book The Atlantic Championship celebrates the first 25 years of Formula Atlantic.
