The Concours d’Elegance of America 2015 was held on July 24-26 at the Inn at St. John\u2019s in Plymouth, Michigan. The 37th annual event featured collector Bruce Meyer as the \u2018Enthusiast of the Year.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Concours d’Elegance of America 2015 offered a pair of Best of Show awards, one for American and one for Foreign entrants. This year’s Best of Show American was awarded to the 1929 Duesenberg Model J Dual Cowl Phaeton by Murphy of Charles E. Letts, Jr., while Jim Patterson\u2019s 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante won Best of Show Foreign. Additional prize winners included the 1934 Hispano-Suiza J-12 of Robert and Sandra Bahre winning the Chairman\u2019s Award, Most Elegant Car went to the 1934 Packard Twelve of Joseph and Margie Cassini and the Timeless Beauty Award to the 1957 Maserati 250S of Roger Willbanks.<\/p>\n

The 2015 Concours of America featured classes such as Bizzarrini Prototypes, Bonneville Streamliners, Early Japanese Sports Cars, Ferrari Competition, Auto Show 1955 and 1980\u2019s Dream Cars. The featured ‘Enthusiast of the Year’ Bruce Meyer brought a 1936 Bugatti Type 57 Ventoux, 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Scaglietti Spider and a 1962 Shelby Cobra CSX2001 — the first production Cobra — among other cars from his famed collection.<\/p>\n
