The organization was founded in 1981 for MG vintage racers, and began staging its Focus Events featuring all-MG races in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the 20<sup>th<\/sup> year of these Focus Events, MGVR has designated a Mid-West Focus Event at the Waterford Hills Racetrack in Clarkston, Michigan, on the weekend of July 29-31, while the West Coast Focus Event will be with CSRG at Sonoma Raceway, in Sonoma, California, on the weekend of September 30-October 2.
