We had spent that morning listening to the rumbling parade of chromed and polished Chevy Small-block-powered Tupperware deuce coupes rolling by when we went into one of the show buildings to get out of the sun. There was the usual assortment of custom \u2018Vettes, old gasser coupes painted lemon yellow, and \u201950s lead sleds; but then off in the far corner was something magnificent.
