Northern California\u2019s Classic Sports and Racing Group held its season-closing race meeting at Thunderhill Park in Willows, California, last weekend, with the featured event a Reunion of Titan and Winkelmann racing cars that brought out 34 cars bearing badges from one of the two marques.<\/p>\n
The Reunion feature race was won by Ethan Shippert in a Titan Mk 6 Formula Ford, followed by Todd Strong in a Titan Mk. 9, with Eric Sidebotham taking 3rd<\/sup> in a Winkelmann WDF1. The Reunion drew a number of former Winkelmann employees and racers, including Bob Winkelmann himself, and Ken Bailey, a former Titan works team driver in the UK. Others on hand with direct links to the two marques included David Bailey, Bob Blackwood, John Gianelli, Tom Gloy, Paul Hasselgren, Richard Hawkins and Tennyson Kwok.<\/p>\n Sunday\u2019s other feature race winners were:<\/p>\n Group 1 – Jay Embree, 1954 Lotus Mk.
