And even if you don\u2019t win, your money goes to a great cause.<\/p>\n<p>The car in question is one of 50 limited edition continuation Shelby 289 FIA Cobras built to commemorate the 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the FIA Manufacturers Championship won by Shelby American in 1965.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 289 FIA Shelby Cobras were among the most important cars in American racing history,\u201d says John Luft, president of Shelby American. \u201cThe FIA Cobras built during that period were piloted by racing legends including Ken Miles, Dan Gurney, Phil Hill and Bob Bondurant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Finished in the same classic \u201cViking Blue\u201d as the works cars, this Cobra recreation has a black interior and carries FIA stripes and Roundels, as well as special anniversary badging. Tickets, as noted above, are only $10 and help the Wounded Warriors Support Group. The drawing will take place January 1, 2016, at 1 p.m. PST, and you do not have to be present to win.
