The car that would bear his name was the result of his new collaboration with Ghia\u2014a stunningly clean and simple form presented on a Victorian frame, atop red velvet. The Abarth was a show-stopper, but soon after the debut, it receded into obscurity. Sixty-two years later it stunned attendants of the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d\u2019Elegance where it won its class and became runner up for Best of Show.
