The Silverstone Classic is not only the world\u2019s largest classic motor racing festival, but also the world\u2019s biggest race meeting. The packed program features a full spectrum of historic motor sport and regularly attracts more than 1,000 race entries.<\/p>\n<p>Those preparing to compete at this year\u2019s Classic are being given the chance to fine-tune their cars and\/or familiarize themselves with the full Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit during the Classic\u2019s official annual Media Preview on Wednesday April 27.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe introduced free testing at the Media Preview last year as part of our 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary celebrations, as we wanted to give something back to all those competitors who play such an important role in making the Classic the huge success it is today,\u201d explained Nick Wigley, CEO of organizer Goose Live Events. \u201cThe offer proved so popular that we are repeating it this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and application forms are available by visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverstoneclassic.com\/competitor-zone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.silverstoneclassic.com\/competitor-zone<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Competitors preparing for this summer\u2019s Silverstone Classic, set for July 29-31, are being offered an opportunity to test their cars in advance for free.
