That archer means that the car it adorns represents the highest level of quality. Respected and renowned during its more than 30 years as an American automaker, Pierce-Arrow is still one of America\u2019s most admired marques. Pierce-Arrow cars were known to be refined and smooth, but the company was also known for innovation. The company pioneered power brakes and steering, light alloy construction, streamlined bodywork, hydraulic tappets, and their unique headlight treatment.
