Tickets for the 2016 Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle have gone on sale, and among the attractions attendees can expect to see as the September 2-4 event celebrates the 90th birthday of her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth II, is a selection of cars linked to the Royal Family that includes a 1900 Daimler 6hp first acquired by King Edward VII. Also featured will be a display of innovative cars from each decade of Her Majesty\u2019s reign, as well as a selection of the world\u2019s most exclusive supercars.<\/p>\n

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Also on the show field will be the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO raced by Britain\u2019s two-time World Champion Graham Hill in that year\u2019s Tourist Trophy at Goodwood. In all, as many as 1,000 cars are expected to congregate on the castle grounds, including sparkling arrays of Ferraris, Aston Martins, Bentleys and Jaguars.<\/p>\n

Adult tickets for this year\u2019s Concours of Elegance start from just \u00a325, with children under five admitted free of charge. For the first time, the Concours of Elegance is offering members of the public the opportunity to attend on Friday September 2, a day normally reserved for the owners of the main Concours cars.<\/p>\n
