Often referred to as the world\u2019s first supercar, the XKSS was originally built by Jaguar as a road-going version of its Le Mans-winning D-Type, with the cars built in 1957 originally earmarked for export to the U.S., but disaster struck and a number were lost to the fabled Browns Lane fire that same year.
