The winning Testa Rossa was also the winner in its \u201cRacing Improves the Breed class, with the People\u2019s Choice-winning Maserati being runner-up in the same class.<\/p>\n<p>In tribute to the 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, the special Miura anniversary class drew eight examples to the concours lawns as the judges chose the P400SV of Adrian Labi the ultimate winner. Other Italian winners included the completely original 1992 Ferrari F40 that won the \u201cDream Machines\u201d class, and a beautifully restored 1972 Dino 246 GT which won the \u201cEuropean Grand Tourers\u201d category.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrari Daytonas also feature at this year\u2019s show, with a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS\/4 taking the \u201cGone with the Wind\u201d class win, and a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB\/4 being awarded \u201cBest Interior\u201d honors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are cars that just impress from the start,\u201d said Salon Priv\u00e9 Managing Director and Concours Chairman, Andrew Bagley, \u201cand this year the 1956 Ferrari 500 Testa Rossa wowed the judges. Never having been seen before at a worldwide Concours, it was a sight to behold for any Concours connoisseur.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the winning Ferrari, owned by Bruce Lavachek and David Cottingham, the award capped a painstaking 40-year journey for Bruce to locate the car and bring it back to its former glory by utilizing the specialist skills of Cottingham\u2019s DK Engineering firm.
