Four drivers posted double victories in the twin races for their respective race groups during last weekend\u2019s 19th<\/sup> Coronado Speed Festival, part of San Diego Fleet Week. Organized by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, the event on a temporary 1.7-mile circuit laid out on the runways of the Coronado North Island Naval Air Station provides three days of vintage racing, car shows, a military pit crew challenge and aircraft displays.<\/p>\n

The quartet noted above included William Greenman, who won both Group 1 contests with his MG Midget, Cal Meeker, victorious in both races for Groups 5 and 7 with his Lola T292, Paul Quackenbush, who claimed both Group 8 races with his Lotus S-7 and Martin Lauber, who did everyone one better by winning both races in two different groups. In Group 2, Lauber drove his Titan Mk6 Formula Ford to double victory, then climbed aboard his ex-Keke Rosberg Chevron B39 Formula Atlantic car (above) to claim the twin killing in Group 9.\u00a0The full list of race winners follows:<\/p>\n
