The first six offerings will cross the block at Barrett-Jackson\u2019s 9<sup>th<\/sup> annual Las Vegas auction, set for October 13-15 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/mandalaybay.com\/\">Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino<\/a>, while the remainder will be sold at the firm\u2019s flagship Scottsdale sale next January.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs evident from his very special collection in Texas, Charlie Thomas is a real car guy with an eye for the finest this hobby has to offer,\u201d said\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/Company\/Home\/ExecutiveBiographies#craigjackson\">Craig Jackson<\/a>, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. \u201cWe\u2019re honored he has chosen Barrett-Jackson to help find new homes for 150 of his vehicles as he looks to make room for new additions to his collection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Heading the quality consignments available in Vegas is a Royal Maroon <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/Events\/Event\/Details\/1946-CHRYSLER-TOWN-And-COUNTRY-CONVERTIBLE-198934\">1946 Chrysler Town &amp; Country Convertible<\/a> (above, photo courtesy of Barrett-Jackson) that has had a professional frame-off restoration and is powered by a 323 cubic-inch Straight 8-cylinder engine driving through a Fluid Drive transmission.<\/p>\n<p>Another example is a black <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/Events\/Event\/Details\/1940-CADILLAC-SERIES-62-CONVERTIBLE-198925\">1940 Cadillac Series 62<\/a> with red interior and a large 346 cubic-inch V8 teamed with a standard transmission.
