{"id":495985,"date":"2016-11-01T00:24:54","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T07:24:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/\/?p=36821"},"modified":"2023-11-25T00:50:19","modified_gmt":"2023-11-25T00:50:19","slug":"beaulieu-supercar-weekend-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/beaulieu-supercar-weekend-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Beaulieu Supercar Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 450 of the world\u2019s most prestigious supercars rumbled onto the grounds of Britain\u2019s National Motor Museum on August\u00a020-21, to take part in the inaugural Beaulieu Supercar Weekend,<\/p>\n<p>The new two-day celebration of high-performance motoring offered more than 13,000 spectators the opportunity to get close to some of the most incredible performance cars in the world, and to watch them in action during demonstration runs, all while enjoying the special displays scattered around the picturesque Beaulieu parkland.<\/p>\n<p>The first event to run as part of a strategic partnership between Beaulieu Enterprises and Brand Events, Beaulieu Supercar Weekend brought together a diverse display featuring every variety of supercar, both modern and classic, including marques such as Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguar, TVR, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Lotus and more.<\/p>\n<p>A special tribute collection on the lawns of Palace House honored the fabled voice of Formula One, Murray Walker, with an exclusive display curated by the broadcaster himself. From historic racecars, such as the Grand Prix-winning Maserati 250F and the F1 cars driven by championship winners Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill, to historic rally cars, the tribute spanned Walker\u2019s long and distinguished career.<\/p>\n<p>The Aston Martin tribute collection, set in front of Palace House, the historic home of the Montagu family, showcased some of the most famous Aston Martins, from the classic DB2\/4 of the 1950s, to the company\u2019s latest creation, the stunning DB11.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFerruccio Lamborghini: 100 Years\u201d celebrated the man who brought us some of the most memorable supercars ever made, with a display of those that are part of his legacy, from the 1960s 400 GT through icons such as the Miura P400S, Countach and Diablo to the modern Gallardo, the lineup covered the Italian carmaker\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, examples of the astonishing McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari hypercars rubbed shoulders with machines as varied as the Jaguar E-Type, Honda NSX, Noble M12, Ariel Atom, Ferrari F40 and many more.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More than 450 of the world\u2019s most prestigious supercars rumbled onto the grounds of Britain\u2019s National Motor Museum on August\u00a020-21, to take part in the inaugural Beaulieu Supercar Weekend, The new two-day celebration of high-performance motoring offered more than 13,000 spectators the opportunity to get close to some of the most incredible performance cars in the world, and to watch them in action during demonstration runs, all while enjoying the special displays scattered around the picturesque Beaulieu parkland.
