Introduced at the Olympia Motor Show this Rolls-Royce, later named Silver Ghost, would go on to be the longest-running single model next to the Model T Ford. It is considered by many the most famous luxury car in history. Today, the Silver Ghost remains one of the most desirable models among antique (pre -1930) cars. In 2012, the 1906 40\/50hp Silver Ghost model known as \u201cThe Corgi\u201d sold at auction for $7.1 million. The 39th Annual Concours d\u2019Elegance of America will be held on Sunday, July 30, at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan.
