The JLG Autocrib Porsche Collection will be sold without reserve at the Auctions America Fort Lauderdale 2017 auction, to be held March 31 \u2013 April 2 in Florida. The collection includes a group of 26 Porsches along with extensive Porsche-related automobilia.<\/p>\n

The JLG Autocrib Porsche Collection is the result of more than four decades of acquisition by Jack and Alice Gish of Connecticut.As a group, the collection traces the evolution of the marque, including examples from each decade of Porsche production from early 356s of the 1950s and 60s through to a 2003 996 Turbo. While the origins of the collection date back to 1974, the husband and wife team kicked their collecting pursuits into high gear in 1998, scouring the country for both air- and water-cooled models. The series of automobiles slated for Auctions America\u2019s 2017 Fort Lauderdale sale represents the complete vehicle collection.<\/p>\n

The automobile offering is headlined by a 1955 Porsche 356 1600 Speedster, formerly owned by Nicholas Cage. It is not however the only car with celebrity ties, as there\u2019s also a 1958 Porsche RSK Tribute driven by Bruce Willis in Death Becomes Her<\/em>.
