This year\u2019s event will be part of a true auto-enthusiast paradise, as the Houston Auto Show will be setting up shop just across the parking lot at the NRG Center, April 5-9.<\/p>\n<p>Among the auction\u2019s featured lots are two 2015 Lamborghinis, one a red-with-tan-interior Huracan LP610 (above) with a 5.2-liter, V10 engine and 7-speed automatic transmission, the other a black-with-tan-interior Aventador with a Power Craft exhaust upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>This pair of Lamborghinis will be complemented by a duo of Resto Mod projects by Jeff Hayes of American Speed Shop. One is a 1967 Corvette with a new 500-hp GM LS3 engine and 5-speed automatic transmission housed in a professionally fabricated chassis with C5 front and C6 rear suspension, while the other is a 1969 Camaro featuring an LS3 hot-cam crate engine and a Tremec 5-speed transmission.\u2028.<\/p>\n<p>Other featured consignments come from the <a href=\"http:\/\/mecum.us5.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=db3f33528e1496a2ba58ad3c9&amp;id=b9d27ada23&amp;e=752c5c1fce\">LaQuay Automobile Collection<\/a> of more than 50 vehicles, all offered at no reserve. The collection features performance vehicles such as a 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello and a 2005 Ford GT (with all four options and 4,000 miles) and a 2002 Shelby Cobra 40<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary that is number five of 40 built. Among the most significant cars in the collection are four matching-numbers vehicles: a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window Coupe, a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda and a 1970 Chevelle LS6.
