Northern California\u2019s Classic Sports and Racing Group will be hosting a Formula Vee Gathering during its 2017 Thunderhill Spring race on the three-mile East track, April 28-30. With the event open to all years of FV, Modern Vees will be included and there will be separate scoring for each era of Vees.<\/p>\n

The Volkswagen air-cooled single-seaters will be divided into four race groups:<\/p>\n

* Group FV:\u00a0Cars prepared to CSRG FV eligibility– Monoposto Rules, treaded tires, etc.<\/p>\n

* Group FV1:\u00a0Same as FV except fan, generator and shroud are not required, and ducting and slick tires are allowed.<\/p>\n

* Group FV2:\u00a0Same as FV & FV1 except cars through 1978 with rear suspension being free and slick tires allowed.<\/p>\n

* Group FV3:\u00a01979 and newer cars that comply with current SCCA GCR, including tires.<\/p>\n
