Highlighting the Festival schedule were the timed runs up the Hill, known as The Shootout, the Cartier Style et Luxe Concours and anniversary celebrations for Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz and Williams among others. We summarize some of the highlights below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Shootout<\/strong> &#8211; The huge crowds lining the Goodwood hillclimb course enjoyed another fabulous Sunday Shootout that kept them entertained throughout the day. With the cars taking to the course in reverse order of their qualifying times, the tempo of the competition rose until Justin Law threw his Jaguar XJR12D around every corner with inch-perfect precision to squeeze out a weekend best time of 46.13 seconds to take top honors.<\/p>\n<p>The top 10 quickest times from Sunday\u2019s shootout:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Justin Law &#8211; Jaguar XJR12D &#8211; 46.13<\/li>\n<li>Jeremy Smith &#8211; Penske PC22-Chevrolet &#8211; 46.22<\/li>\n<li>Mark Higgins &#8211; Subaru WRX STI &#8211; 48.25<\/li>\n<li>Anthony Reid &#8211; Arrinera Hussarya GT3 &#8211; 48.28<\/li>\n<li>Nick Heidfeld &#8211; Mahindra M4Electro &#8211; 48.59<\/li>\n<li>Mike Skinner &#8211; Toyota Tundra &#8211; 49.02<\/li>\n<li>Andrew Newall &#8211; McLaren M8F-Chevrolet &#8211; 49.41<\/li>\n<li>Paul Dallenbach &#8211; Dallenbach PVA Special &#8211; 49.67<\/li>\n<li>James Grint &#8211; Mitsubishi Mirage RX &#8211; 49.82<\/li>\n<li>Charlie Eastwood &#8211; Porsche 911 GT3 Cup &#8211; 50.51<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Cartier Style et Luxe<\/strong> &#8211; This year\u2019s Cartier Style et Luxe at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by MasterCard was one of the finest yet, from the incredible early-2000s hypercars to the glorious Silver Ghost class, with Maserati GTs, Aston Martin DBs and more gracing the lawn with beauty and elegance. Following are the winning cars for all seven classes and the overall winner:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 1 \u2013<\/strong> Full Steam Ahead &#8211; 120 Years of the Stanley Motor Carriage &#8211;\u00a01903 Stanley Motor Carriage Company B Type<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 2<\/strong> \u2013 The Best Car in the World &#8211; Rolls-Royce\u2019s Sublime Silver Ghost &#8211;\u00a01920 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Brewster Landaulet<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 3<\/strong> \u2013 Add-Vantage Mr. Brown &#8211; The Bespoke DB Aston Martin &#8211;\u00a01961 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 4 <\/strong>\u2013 Maranello\u2019s Masterpiece &#8211; The Fabled Ferrari 250 &#8211;\u00a01962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 5 <\/strong>\u2013 Trident Tested &#8211; The Intercontinental Maserati GT &#8211;\u00a01959 Maserati 3500 GT<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 6<\/strong> \u2013 Cheeky Cinquecento &#8211; 60 Years of the Fiat 500 &#8211;\u00a01957 Steyr\u2013Puch 500 Modell Fiat<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Class 7<\/strong> \u2013 Game Changers &#8211; Genesis of the Hypercar &#8211;\u00a01995 McLaren F1<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall winner &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>1957 Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina Cabriolet Series 1<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ferrari celebrated its 70<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary with a diverse display of 70 current and historic Ferrari roadcars and racecars, led by a 333SP driven by Emmanuele Pirro, a 166 Dino F2 driven by Derek Bell and a 458 GT2 driven by Nicolas Minassian. Also taking part were a number of other Ferrari cars and drivers, including Marc Gene (F60); Olivier Beretta (F1-90); Davide Rigon, (F2007); Sam Bird, (FXX); James Calado, (FXX K); Rene Arnoux, (599XX); Alessandro Pier Guidi, (488 GTE); Raffaele de Simone, (LaFerrari Aperta). Noteworthy as well was Derek Hill driving a replica of his father Phil\u2019s World Championship-winning \u201cSharknose\u201d Ferrari up the hill in tandem with former works driver Arturo Merzario in a second recreation of the fabled 156.\u00a0The Ferrari brand was also showcased in the Cartier Style et Luxe Concours with a class dedicated to the Ferrari 250, with a number of noteworthy 250s. A special parade of Ferraris also climbed the hill \u2014 led by the very first Ferrari, the 1947 125 S \u2014 before assembling on the Lawn of Goodwood House for a unique \u201cFerrari Moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Gordon Murray, legendary designer of a string of Formula One championship-winning Brabhams and McLarens, as well as a Le Mans-winning sports car, drove a recreation of his very own IGM-Ford up the Goodwood course. The IGM-Ford was Murray\u2019s vey first sports car, which he designed, built and raced in South Africa during 1967 and 1968 before going to England to make his name in F1.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Reigning Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg drove his 2014 Mercedes-Benz W05 Hybrid up Goodwood Hill as part of the German company\u2019s participation in the Festival weekend.
