A 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV, a 1966 Ford GT40 and a 1935 Frazer Nash took top honors at the second annual Heveningham Hall Concours d\u2019Elegance July 9 during the County Fair at the 5,000-acre 18th<\/sup> Century county estate in Suffolk. The Concours hosted of 50 cars from 1903 to 2017, as well as 11 vintage aircraft, and its panel of judges included world-renowned car designers Ian Callum and J Mays, and was chaired by Max Hunt. Each winner received a specially commissioned bronze trophy from renowned Suffolk sculptor Laurence Edwards. Those selections follow:<\/p>\n

The Concours had opened with Friday\u2019s Suffolk Border Tour, new for 2017, as a selection of Concours entrants travelled a 50-mile route through the beautiful Suffolk countryside.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a fantastic second year for the Concours,\u201d enthused Hunt, \u201cthe quality of the cars on display has been exceptional, and it was very difficult to make a decision on the winners. The Tour\u2026was really special, and it was great to see so many of these fantastic cars being driven. We\u2019re already looking forward to next year!\u201d<\/p>\n

Also new for 2017 was a charitable partnership with the Royal College of Art and The Heveningham Hall Concours RCA Automotive Design Scholarship, which will see a British student awarded a scholarship to cover fees and living expenses during the 15-month MA Automotive Design course in London under the auspices of Professor J Mays. The scholarship winner will be announced later this year.<\/p>\n
