The docket for Las Vegas\u2019 premier automotive lifestyle event will include a wide array of highly desirable and sought-after collector cars, including the unique 2007 Ford Shelby GT Concept Car #1 (above, photo courtesy of Barrett-Jackson), a 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren with fewer than 7,500 actual miles and a professionally restored 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible.<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive year, Barrett-Jackson will host its kickoff party at Drai\u2019s Nightclub on Wednesday, October 18. The invitation-only party \u2014 open to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/Consignment\/Home\/OpenRequest\">consignors<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/Bidder\/Home\">bidders<\/a>, sponsors and invited guests \u2014 will commence the festivities at the famed club overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. The collector car and automobilia auctions begin Thursday, October 19, along with a wide variety of displays, exhibitors and activities for the whole family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas Vegas is a tremendous destination city known for hosting exciting live events, making it a perfect fit for us since we held our first auction there in 2008,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/Company\/Home\/ExecutiveBiographies#stevedavis\">Steve Davis<\/a>, Barrett-Jackson president. \u201cOver the last decade we\u2019ve set world auction records, hosted a who\u2019s who in entertainment and music, and supported some incredible charity organizations.
