You might well ask \u201cWho the hell\u2019s he?\u201d when you read the name at the top of the page. Well, he\u2019s the man none other than Niki Lauda described as The 20th Century\u2019s Greatest Rally Driver.<\/p>\n

Not the most popular branch of motor sport in America, but rallying is the one in which Walter shone like a billion-watt searchlight in the \u201980s and \u201990s. Yet his motor sport was not \u201climited\u201d to rallying, in which he became a double World Champion; he won major World Sportscar Championship events and, believe it or not, even won the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb at record speed. When he retired, he became Porsche\u2019s fastest ever test driver and product spokesman. Yes, there\u2019s a lot more to Mr. R\u00f6hrl than you might think.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
