Number 47, driven by Terry Drury, leads Frank Gardner in number 41. It was a brief moment of glory, however, as Drury failed to finish, while Gardner finished in position. Another GT40 eventually \u201cwon the day,\u201d though, with Paul Hawkins at the wheel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Artist Neil Podbery based the monochrome oil\u2008painting\u00a0on\u00a0a\u00a0Ferret\u00a0Fotographic\u00a0image, and the original of\u00a0this painting is still for sale at \u00a31995.
