The Mecum Chicago 2017 collector-car auction held this past weekend, October 5-7, at the Schaumburg Convention Center in suburban Chicago achieved $12.6 million in overall sales with 72 percent of the 795 vehicles offered hammering sold.<\/p>\n

Top sales at the Chicago 2017 auction included several Corvettes from the Mercurio Collection, with the couple\u2019s 1967 Corvette Convertible<\/a> and their 1963 Split-Window Coupe<\/a> grabbing the top two sales slots at $115,000 and $110,000, respectively.<\/p>\n
