The inaugural Mecum Las Vegas Collector-Car Auction will feature 1,000 consignments on the weekend of November 16-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The docket will include American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, Hot Rods, Resto Mods and more.<\/p>\n

Among the \u201cMain Attractions\u201d consigned to date is a well-documented 1965 Shelby 289 Cobra Roadster<\/a> (above, photo courtesy of Mecum Auctions) that retains its original aluminum body, red seat covers, six-inch chrome wire wheels and remains one of the most original automatic-equipped Cobras in existence. Another headliner is a 1958 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster<\/a> documented with a copy of the original build sheet confirming its matching-numbers chassis, body, engine, four-speed transmission and differential. Also included is a well-documented two-owner 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird<\/a> that stands as one of the most original and highly optioned Hemi Superbirds known to exist.<\/p>\n

Several private collections will round out the quality consignments in Vegas with collector Les Quam<\/a> bringing 11 highly desirable vehicles including a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT<\/a>, five Vipers and a \u201968 Yenko Camaro<\/a>. Barry Walston<\/a> will also bring a selection of vehicles with six of his finest \u201830s Fords and more set to be offered at no reserve.<\/p>\n
