A trio of rare classic sports cars will be among the many desirable cars crossing the block at RM Sotheby\u2019s upcoming R\u00e9tromobile sale in Paris, February 7. Headlining the offerings is an exceptionally rare long-nose, alloy-bodied 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB. (above, Scott Pattenden photo courtesy of RM Sotheby’s). Fresh from four decades of single ownership in the United States, chassis no. 08069 has recently undergone a ground-up restoration, returning the matching-numbers car to its original factory colors of Argento Metallizatto over a Nero interior. It has been certified by Ferrari Classiche as one of only 60 alloy-bodied 275 GTBs ever made.<\/p>\n

Also offered is a two-liter 1954 OSCA 2000S, chassis no. 2005, that is the fifth of five built, and sports gorgeous Morelli coachwork. Having won the 1954 12 hours of Messina and raced at a handful of other events in Italy, the OSCA benefits from a four-year restoration concluded in 2003.<\/p>\n

The third offering is a rare 1995 Porsche 911\/993 Turbo Cabriolet, chassis no. 8509, that is one of but nine left-hand-drive examples made of a mere 14 that ever left the Porsche Exclusive factory. It has been driven just 32,000 kilometers from new and sports a unique mix of narrow-bodied 993 Carrera bodyshell and 964 Turbo running gear. It is also fitted with a unique electric clutch produced by RUF and installed by Porsche Exclusive, and comes with a comprehensive history file, and a fresh service.<\/p>\n
