The Greenbrier, a luxury Allegheny Mountains resort situated in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, is synonymous with authentic, world-class, southern hospitality. This newest concours in North America will include a wide array of automotive events throughout the 11,000 acres of The Greenbrier and The Greenbrier Sporting Club over the course of the three days as automotive enthusiasts are treated to experiences that should make The Greenbrier Concours d\u2019Elegance one of the most discussed car events of 2018.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Greenbrier has a long history with automotive manufacturers and fine car owners, but this will be the first time we\u2019ve had the pleasure of hosting an automotive event of this magnitude,\u201d said Jill Justice, D.O., President, The Greenbrier. \u201cThere isn\u2019t a better place to feature some of the finest cars in the world than at The Greenbrier, which has built a tradition of luxury for centuries. We\u2019re incredibly excited to hold the first event of what we expect to be a can\u2019t-miss tradition.\u201d<\/p>\n
Among the highlights of the three-day showcase will be The Summit Driving Tour, Car Club Day \u2014 which will allow car clubs from throughout North America to display their cars on the showfield \u2014 and a Charitable Gala.<\/p>\n
The Summit Driving Tour will give drivers the opportunity to explore the scenic West Virginia highways surrounding The Greenbrier, testing the power and precision of their automobiles on the hills and valleys of the Mountain State before ending the drive with lunch at The Summit, one of the most picturesque spots at The Greenbrier Sporting Club.<\/p>\n
Saturday\u2019s Car Club Day will allow car enthusiasts to showcase their favorite cars on the Concours Showfield the day before the Concours d\u2019Elegance, and the evening will conclude with a charitable gala benefiting Mountaineer Autism Project and the Antique Automobile Club of America. The weekend\u2019s premier event will be Sunday\u2019s Concours d\u2019Elegance, when approximately 100 of the finest collector cars in the world will be judged and a champion crowned.<\/p>\n
