Dan was part of that wave of American drivers from the \u201950s sports car racing scene who all arrived in Formula One at about the same time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carroll Shelby, Richie Ginther, Masten Gregory, Phil Hill and Dan. What a mark they made on the world of Grand Prix racing.
