The Miller event is one of the most impressive U.S. gatherings of Pre- and Post-WWII Indy and Champ Cars, Roadsters and Laydowns. Vintage racecars designed by Miller, Mercer, Kurtis, Duesenberg, Alfa Romeo and Bugatti participate in this unique run on the Milwaukee Mile (above, Fred Sickler photo). The gates open for the 2018 Miller event at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with vintage cars running the oval track from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCar owners typically drive over 100 laps on the track over the two-day event,\u201d said Club President Tedd Zamjahn. \u201cThis is a great opportunity for our entrants as well as spectators. Our entrants are passionate about their vintage cars, and are here to tell the story of vintage Indy racing to the public. This year even more of Harry Miller\u2019s extraordinary cars will be running the Mile!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spectators will also be able to enjoy the wide range of vendors and exhibits promoting vintage racing history.
