The Classic Sports Racing Group\u2019s annual David Love Memorial Races will be taking place this weekend, April 6-8, at Sonoma Raceway in the Wine Country north of San Francisco. The Love Memorial Races will open the season for CSRG, Northern California’s premier vintage racing organization, with two race groups as the focus for the weekend, the Formula Ford Crossflow Cup, and Race Group 1 for sports cars from 1962 and earlier (above, photo courtesy of CSRG).<\/p>\n

The Crossflow Cup for Formula Fords and Club Fords has become one of the premier series in vintage racing, featuring races that are intense, but fair. Formula Ford, now in its 51st<\/sup>year, has been called the most important racing class in the history of motorsports, and the Crossflow Cup is a series for Historic Formula Fords (cars built in 1972 or before) and Club, or Classic, Formula Fords for cars built prior to 1981.For more complete information please visit the Crossflow Cup site www.norwestff.com<\/a> or contact Andrew Wait at andrew.wait@gmail.com<\/a><\/p>\n
