Always fascinated by history, his education took him on a very different journey as he studied and gained a degree in Theology at Edinburgh University. However, on a train journey home, reading a copy of Motor Sport, Mitchell responded to an advertisement for a junior at the renowned London historic car dealer, Fiskens. From this junior position he climbed the ladder, within Fiskens, eventually becoming Business Manager. Leaving the company in 2013, the next era beckoned as he opened his own classic car business\u2014Pendine, locating at the prestigious hub of classic and historic motoring, Bicester Heritage.
