The 17 iconic racecars in the display will celebrate and detail BMW\u2019s storied motorsports legacy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs proven by the extraordinary collection of race cars within Heroes of Bavaria exhibit, BMW rightfully earns the title of the \u2018Ultimate Driving Machine.\u2019 Their vehicles have been tried-and-tested on race tracks for the last 75 years,\u201d said America\u2019s Automotive Trust CEO Adam Langsbard. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be the first to display this unrivalled collection on the West Coast and share BMW\u2019s many motorsports accomplishments with the hundreds of thousands guests who visit ACM each year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Bavarian-themed <a href=\"http:\/\/pcg.pr-optout.com\/Tracking.aspx?Data=HHL%3d8-%3a796-%3eLCE58295%3a%26SDG%3c90%3a.&amp;RE=MC&amp;RI=2384227&amp;Preview=False&amp;DistributionActionID=24745&amp;Action=Follow+Link\">grand opening celebration at ACM<\/a> occurs the evening of May 12.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As part of the festivities, ACM Master Collector Peter Gleason will moderate a live discussion with notable BMW figures including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bill Auberlen, the winningest BMW factory race car driver in history<\/li>\n<li>Erik Wensberg, longtime motorsport and M Brand Manager for BMW of North America<\/li>\n<li>Tom Plucinsky, BMW Group Product and Technology Department Head<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tickets to the opening night include member discounts and are available at <a href=\"http:\/\/pcg.pr-optout.com\/Tracking.aspx?Data=HHL%3d8-%3a796-%3eLCE58295%3a%26SDG%3c90%3a.&amp;RE=MC&amp;RI=2384227&amp;Preview=False&amp;DistributionActionID=24744&amp;Action=Follow+Link\">https:\/\/www.americascarmuseum.org\/event\/bmw-heroes-bavaria-exhibit-grand-opening-celebration\/<\/a>.
