{"id":497579,"date":"2018-05-21T11:02:14","date_gmt":"2018-05-21T18:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/\/?p=59031"},"modified":"2024-02-26T00:54:59","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T00:54:59","slug":"bmw-to-be-featured-at-pvgp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/bmw-to-be-featured-at-pvgp\/","title":{"rendered":"BMW to be Featured at PVGP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The PVGP has announced that BMW will not only be the Marque of the Year at this year&#8217;s Pittsburgh Vintage Grans Prix, but they will also serve as the host for the BMW\u00a0Car Club of America&#8217;s Oktoberfest from July 9 through 15.\u00a0BMW CCA\u00a0is bringing\u00a0their largest annual gathering &#8211;\u00a0with 1,000 enthusiasts and 500 BMWs expected.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the BMW CCA holds its preeminent national celebration of all things BMW in a different location around the country. It is the ultimate motorsport family reunion, including parties, banquets, vendors, track days, autocrosses, rallies, a concours and more!\u00a0 2018 is also the 50th Anniversary of the BMW 2002 in North America, so the PVGP promises dozens of them on the track both weekends, at their race week events and on the fairways of Schenley Park.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There will be something for every BMW enthusiast. The Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex on July 6-8 will have two BMW Race Groups with 100 Bimmers expected on track. O\u2019Fest participants will return to Pitt Race throughout the week for track events, an autocross, car control clinics and other events.\u00a0 O\u2019Fest will also feature a TSD rally, gymkhana, driving tours, receptions and banquets.
