Unfortunately, Jim Victor succumbed to his\u00a0injuries sustained in the accident. Victor was testing his Formula Continental car in anticipation of the upcoming weekend-long SCCA Majors event. The Majors Tour is the top level of amateur road racing in sports cars and open-wheel cars.<\/p>\n<p>Victor, a financial services provider from Davenport, Iowa, was an accomplished racer who had run at Road America many times\u2014most recently just a week ago\u2014in his historic Chevron B17 Formula B car.
