When he died a year later, it was bought for \u00a3125 by talented racing driver John Godfrey Parry-Thomas who re-christened it <em>Babs<\/em>. Today, the fully-restored Babs is a fitting tribute to the aeroplane-engine racing cars and their fearless drivers whose exploits inspired Ian Fleming.<\/p>\n<p><a producer Cubby Broccoli by his wife Dana andoriginal film concept art by Sir Ken Adam, storyboard watercolor artwork by Robert Laing and technical drawings by Peter Lamont which have never been previously exhibited.<\/p>\n<p><em>Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 50 years<\/em>can be seen as part of the general admission to Beaulieu, which includes entrance to the National Motor Museum, <em>World of Top Gear<\/em>, <em>On Screen Cars<\/em>, the ancestral Montagu family home of Palace House, 13<sup>th<\/sup>century Beaulieu Abbey and the grounds and gardens.
