Beaulieu\u2019s\u00a0<\/a>new events season gets off to a stylish start with Simply Aston Martin\u00a0<\/a>on Sunday April 7th\u00a0<\/sup>as it marks the 25th\u00a0<\/sup>anniversary of the DB7 going into production.<\/p>\n

More than 300 Aston Martins are expected to gather in the grounds of the National Motor Museum\u00a0<\/a>for the fourth Simply Aston Martin rally, with an impressive display to celebrate one of the world\u2019s most revered sports car marques.<\/p>\n

A special area will be set aside for Aston Martin DB7s, from coupes to Volante convertibles powered by smooth six-cylinders to brutal V12 engines. An important landmark in the company\u2019s history, the DB7 reintroduced the legendary \u2018DB\u2019 title after a two-decade break \u2013 and all are welcome to join the display.<\/p>\n

Simply Aston Martin is well known for its diverse mix and fans, young and old, will love the sublime selection.<\/p>\n

Modern-day Astons will be well represented, from the DB9 and DBS to the Vantage and Vanquish. Look out for classic DB models of the 1950s and \u201960s, V8 models of the 1970s, \u201980s and \u201990s, plus rarely seen early Astons from the 1930s and \u201940s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aston Martin Owners\u2019 Club members will display their cars, while dealer Aston Martin Chichester will bring a selection of the latest Astons for sale. Throughout the day, event-goers and visitors can vote for their favourite Aston Martin of the show in the People\u2019s Choice Award, with the winner receiving a Beaulieu trophy.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget to go inside the National Motor Museum to see the 1922 Aston Martin 1.5-litre Strasbourg, one of just two built in the early days of the company to take part in the 1922 French Grand Prix. This rare car was constructed with financial backing from racer Count Louis Zborowski, the man behind the monster machines that inspired Chitty Chitty Bang Bang<\/a><\/em>, now celebrated in a special exhibition in the museum.<\/p>\n

Event tickets include entrance to all of the Beaulieu attraction, including the museum, the World of Top Gear<\/em>, On Screen Cars<\/em>, 13th\u00a0<\/sup>century Beaulieu Abbey, the Montagu ancestral home of Palace House and its grounds and gardens.<\/p>\n

For those arriving in an Aston Martin to take part in the show, participant tickets are \u00a310 an adult and \u00a35 a child if bought in advance online before 5pm on April 4th<\/sup>. For rally participants, entry is from 9am – 3pm. The Brabazon Restaurant will serve hot drinks and breakfast snacks from 9am. All other visitors should enter through Beaulieu\u2019s Visitor Reception building with a standard attraction admission ticket, from 10am.<\/p>\n

Simply Aston Martin is one of Beaulieu\u2019s range of ten Simply rallies, which includes the first Simply Mercedeson August 18th<\/sup>. Simply Audi\u00a0returns on Easter Sunday April 21st<\/sup>, with Simply Ford\u00a0on May 5th<\/sup>, Simply Porsche\u00a0on June 2nd<\/sup>, Simply VW\u00a0on June 15th<\/sup>, Simply Land Rover & Rummage\u00a0on June 23rd<\/sup>, Simply Jaguar\u00a0on July 14th<\/sup>, Simply Japanese\u00a0on July 28th\u00a0<\/sup>and Simply Smart\u00a0on November 10th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n
