While the weatherman was calling for a wet day the 7th<\/sup> annual Cobble Beach Concours d\u2019Elegance endured only a brief shower in the morning allowing the festivities to proceed as planned. A large crowd visited in the afternoon to enjoy the fine showcase of automobiles presented.<\/p>\n

The winners; post-war was a 1954 Siata 200CS owned by Walter Elenstark, Bluffton, SC.; pre-war 1917 Locomobile 48 Type M series 7 owned by John and Mary McAlpin, Naples NY. But the Best in Show and People\u2019s choice award winner (proving the esteemed judges got it right) was the just completed 1938 Mercedes Benz 540K Cabriolet of Robert S Jepson, Jr. of Savannah GA. Mark your calendar for next year\u2019s event on September 20th<\/sup> 2020.<\/p>\n
