It is with deep regret that the Royal Automobile Club has\u00a0been forced to cancel\u00a0the 2020 RM Sotheby\u2019s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run (Sunday November 1).\u00a0Given that the Run has taken place without interruption since 1947, this decision has not been taken lightly.<\/p>\n

The organizers have\u00a0been working\u00a0tirelessly\u00a0with the\u00a0local\u00a0authorities along the route to plan a Run which would be safe for the participants, staff and spectators.\u00a0However, respecting the Government\u2019s efforts to control the\u00a0current rise in COVID-19 infections,\u00a0this is no longer possible.<\/p>\n

All\u00a0participants and supporters are now\u00a0looking\u00a0forward to\u00a0celebrating the\u00a0125th\u00a0Anniversary\u00a0in style\u00a0next year on November 7, 2021.<\/p>\n

The Royal Automobile Club\u00a0would like to thank the Veteran Car Run Steering Group,\u00a0partners\u00a0and participants\u00a0for their\u00a0encouragement, commitment and\u00a0support \u2013\u00a0and wish everyone a safe year ahead.<\/p>\n
