The wedge-shaped wonder was a continuation of decades of innovation and a forerunner of a new era in the space age; colder, more isolated, and completely detached from the apple pie optimism of the 1950s.<\/p>\n<p>With its sci-fi presence and groundbreaking performance, the Stratos truly lived up to its name, making each of its adversaries dated and prosaic.
