Porsches by adoption, they took two straight victories at Le Mans in 1996 and \u201997 in some of the company\u2019s most improbable successes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBuoyed by our success at the 1994 Le Mans,\u201d said Porsche racing engineer Norbert Singer, \u201cwe started thinking about supporting the American market with a car for the IMSA championship.
